Betty Who Brought Pittsburgh Out of the Darkness

Betty Who’s Out of the Darkness Tour came to Spirit in Pittsburgh, PA on June 25, 2025. Molly Grace opened the show, and it was her last night on the tour. Pittsburgh brought so much energy for her final show as many audience members sang along to her songs. I was in awe of how incredible not only Grace’s voice is but also her background singers (who I believe Grace called her “Lover Girls”). At one point in the set, they covered Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” which can’t be an easy song to sing. All three girls had solos during the song, and my jaw was on the floor. Each one of them sang flawlessly.

Grace performed a couple of newer songs which were released on her debut album, “Blush.” She finished off her set with her hit “F.E.M.M.E.” which I was stoked to hear live. I loved everything about watching Grace perform, from her vocals to the choreography to all of the pink and cutesy vibes of her style. Molly Grace is a star, and I know I want to see her live again soon.

Betty Who then took the stage opening with her song “Run!” It was extremely evident how excited the audience was to see Who as the floor of the venue was shaking from the movement of everyone jumping and dancing around. I have not seen an audience let loose that much, and Who’s discography was the perfect soundtrack for a fun and carefree evening.

When it comes to the setlist, “I CAN BE YOUR MAN” was one of my favorites of the night. Another moment I loved was when Who brought Molly Grace back out for the two of them to cover Hilary Duff’s “What Dreams Are Made Of.” The 2000s nostalgia was a wonderful moment to add to the evening. Betty Who also sang “Alone Again” during the evening for a fan holding a sign.

At the end of the night, Who talked about how the show was about celebrating ourselves and for us to come out of the darkness. I fully agree that this concert fit that description. My cheeks actually hurt from how much I smiled the entire evening. The show felt freeing, uplifting, and like a beautiful escape from the day to day. Betty Who is a phenomenal performer, and I would see her live again in a heartbeat.

I have since recommended seeing both Molly Grace and Betty Who to all of my friends, and I am doing the same with this review. If they are ever in your area, attendance is a must. You can check out photos from the show in the gallery below.
