The Band CAMINO brought their NeverAlways Tour to Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA on November 7, 2025. The first band to open the show was In Color. I was super excited to see In Color live as I’ve been listening to singer Matt Hastings since he was releasing solo music under his last name — Hastings. Their first release, “Headlights,” was the final song of the set, and it was a joy to watch the band perform it since it is my favorite. In Color will be going on their first headline tour in spring, so you should definitely check out if they are coming anywhere close to you.

On next for the NeverAlways Tour was Almost Monday. Singer Dawson Daugherty is so fun to watch live. His stage presence is energetic, constantly moving around and dancing on stage. I loved hearing “Jupiter” on the setlist as that is my favorite song from the band. I highly recommend checking out Almost Monday as I will be looking forward to when I get to see them next.

Finally, it was time for The Band CAMINO to take the stage. I’ve had the privilege of seeing them live a handful of times, and I was as thrilled to see them this night as I was my first time at their show. It was so electric for them to start the set with “Daphne Blue,” one of their hits they usually play toward the end of the show. It brought the crowd to a roar and had everyone jumping and dancing around.

The band specifically mentioned that they were not talking much during the show because they had such a packed set and wanted to get through all of the songs they had planned. One of the highlights was when they played their new song “Afterthought” for the crowd prior to its release. They also sang one of their other newer releases “12:34” and had an exciting moment where they split the crowd and had both halves sing different parts at the same time.

Toward the end of the show, the band took the time to mention how they are extremely grateful that they can play venues far from where they grew up and have 2,000 people show up. I loved attending the NeverAlways Tour. It was a big “pinch me” moment to photograph a tour of one of my all-time favorite bands. I hope I get to see them again soon and think everyone should attend a show if given the opportunity. You will absolutely not regret it.
